Srinagar, Mar 6,: Militant outfit Lashkar-e-Taiba, has paid tribute to Commander Waqas of Jaish-e-Muhammad who was killed in Hatipora Awantipora gunfight on Monday.

Mehmood Shah, the LeT Chief said the pure blood of slain militants will light the way to freedom. “Commander Waqas fulfilled his duty, now it is us who must carry on this mission so as to make way for freedom.”

Mahmood Shah strongly supported the ‘Shopian Chalo!’ call and said that: “the Indian forces imply upon the Dracula laws. “Unless and until the black laws like AFSPA are in place, the human rights will continue to be violated by Indian Forces. This is the time when the whole nation and political parties are at protest.”

“The human rights organizations must take notice of the atrocities committed by Indian Forces on innocents, but regrettably no one is speaking up against such vicious acts. This is the hour of unity and harmony. The Hurriyat leaders must guide the nation. The militants will continue to practice their part of work under all circumstances,” Shah said in a statement to news agency CNS.
