Srinagar 15 Sep【KNZ】: Kashmir University Students at the Sheikhul Alam Boys hostel in Zakura Campus In Srinagar District suffer due to the lack of basic facilities in The hostel.
A student said they are forced to endure dirty toilets, poor food, unsafe water,Transport problem,Mess,Gym and lack of medical facilities.
Students allegedly the problem starts every morning, continues through the day and goes on into the night.
It begins with dirty toilets. “For days together the hostel authorities do not clean toilets,” complains a student on conditions of anonymity.
Washrooms are also equally bad.”they added.
“There is no provision to supply safe, potable drinking water,” says another student requesting name to be withheld.
The lunch and supper are no different either. The food and rice is not free of stones,bacteria adds another student.The condition of mess is worst.
Students say there are no Gym facilities either.
When Kashmir News Zone Contacted Aaqib Malik Student Proctor In Sheikhul Alam Boys Hostel he said we have various problems in hostel like dirty toilets, poor food, unsafe water,Transport problem,Mess,Gym and lack of medical facilities no one solve these problems
When Kashmir News Zone Contacted Javaid Sheikh Hostel Warden he said we will look into the matter and all problems of the students would be solved in two or three days” he said.KNZ
