The candidates for Kashmir Administrative Services (KAS) batch 2014 on Sunday accused the authorities of delaying the results since May 2014.
In 2014, after the prelims, the further exams were stayed by the court citing certain reasons. After three years now the court has lifted the stay but the PSC is delaying it more by not furnishing the details.
Students added that the last examination was started on November 20 and concluded on Dec 06 of this year but the final results have not been declared yet as it has been more than 10 days which otherwise used to take not more than 3 days for previous commissions.
“Later due to the PSC’s negligence, the results of the Mains examinations was delayed for 8 months which otherwise under normal conditions would not take more than 2 months.”
The candidates accused the authorities of being responsible for the mental trauma they go through because of the four-year delay.
“The students are held in the utter dilemma and mental trauma, we are waiting for results for four years and there is no clue found yet,” said a candidate Saqib Ahmed.
“We humbly request to the authorities to declare our results so that even non-qualified students can prove their worth on other examinations, or maybe find any other way out,” he added
