Srinagar, Nov 04: Likewise other snow bound areas of Srinagar, a police team from police station Harwan carried snow clearance work right from Harwan to Shalimar this morning to make roads able for vehicular movement.
It is pertienent to mention that Srinagar city recieved seaons first snowfall on Saturday which lead to the disruption of power supply in almost every area of the city while normal life was thrown out of gear.
Besides snow, the team also removed tress and hi-tension wires which had fallen on roads due to snowfall on Saturday.
The snow clearance work was jointly carried by Police, PDD, and other allied departments.
The joint team since early morning was busy clearing snow from the roads from Harwan to Shalimar so that people does not face any obstacle.
