Srinagar, Jul 30 : Jammu Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party (JKDFP) has pleaded justice loving people across globe to raise their voice against the Indian attempts to change the demography of Jammu Kashmir and damage its disputed nature by taking judiciary route.
In a statement issued to KNS, JKDFP Secretary General, Moulana Mohammad Abdullah Tari said that challenging article 35A of Indian Constitution is an open assault on the people living in the disputed region which is aimed at changing its demography.
Moulana Tari said that article 35A is related to the State Subject Laws and once these laws are done away with it will be a disaster for the whole state the people of which can never afford.
He said that people of Jammu Kashmir are very sensitive about such laws which protect their identity so New Delhi must not allow anybody to play with the sentiments of the people living here.
Moulana Tari warned New Delhi to be ready for the dire consequences if article 35A is even touched by its any institutions including judiciary.
He appealed the sane voices in and outside India to understand the issue and come forward so that Jammu Kashmir is saved and the political sentiments of the people living here are respected who are fully aware of one more serious assault launched against them by challenging article 35A in Indian Supreme Court.
