Ganderbal 25 Aug【KNZ】:Kashmir students from far flunged areas of Ganderbal District, were taken on a visit to various beautiful places like Rock Garden,Rose Garden,Sukhna Lake,Mohali Stadium and cinema by the Indian army incolaboration with Healing touch foundation【NGO】 has started a Gujjar and Bakerwal upliftment program at Naranag Kangan.

The tour was a part of the ongoing initiative that the army has undertaken to improve awareness levels of the students of Jammu and Kashmir. The initiative elicited a positive response from the locals.

During the programme the 29 participants will be given classes on life skill development. They will be also meeting the Hon’ble CM and Governor of Haryana State, Mr. Navjot Singh Sidhu, Mrs. Kiran Kher, MP Chandigarh.

The exposure visit was flagged off by the Commander, 3 Sector RR on 25 Aug from the head quarter of the RR battalion at Wusan. The chief guest interacted with the youth who are undertaking this tour and told them to utilise the opportunity to the fullest.

The participants told that they were grateful to the organisers of the tour and they would create a positive impression on the dignitaries whim they would be meeting on Chandigarh.

Speaking on the flag off ceremony,
the Commander said that our aim is to provide platform to the youth to gain knowledge about the cultural and educational set up in various states.KNZ
