Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) chief Yasin Malik was on Monday shifted to SKIMS Soura from Maisuma police station for a medical check-up.

A spokesman of the outfit said that Malik was taken to the hospital where he will undergo a few diagnostic tests.

Malik, who is currently undergoing detention at Maisuma police station, was on Saturday shifted to a private hospital in the city after he complained of severe chest pain.

Malik was arrested on November 19 from his Abi Guzar office in Srinagar.
