Ganderbal 22 Apr:In order to tackle the rising medical issues due to harsh weather conditions and poor medical facilities, 24 RR organised a medical camp to cover max villages of AOR at Mamer Kangan

The medical camp was an initiative to provide healthcare services to meet immediate needs of the marginalised community in the remote and rural area.

A total of 475 patients were treated by a team of 3 medical officers including one lady doctor and three nursing assistants.The local strata of this region is generally affected by communicable diseases, skin and water borne disease and cold injuries.

The villagers took max advantage of this noble endeavour.

Presence of an Army medical team attracted large populace from nearby areas.

Locals applauded the efforts taken by the Army camp in helping the downtrodden people of the society, thereby increasing bonhomie amongst Awaam and Jawan.
