Srinagar, August 23:Inspector General of Police, Kashmir Shri Munir Ahmad Khan who was accompanied by Deputy Inspector General of Police CKR Shri Ghulam Hassan Bhat visited Ganderbal and held a darbar with Jawans and officers of the district at District Police Lines Ganderbal.

SSP Ganderbal Shri Fayaz Ahmad Lone briefed the IGP about the situation of the district.

During the darbar Shri Munir Ahmad Khan heard patiently the problems and grievances of the jawans and assured them  that their genuine issues will be redressed shortly.

IGP Kashmir Shri Munir Ahmad Khan appreciated Ganderbal police for their excellent job during Amarnath Ji Yatra and congratulated the newly promoted officials.

Addressing the Darbar, IGP Kashmir impressed upon the jawans and officers  about the importance of common people and role of J&K Police in ensuring safety and security of people. He said that welfare of jawans has always been priority and added that more welfare schemes like enhancement of recently ex-gratia and Medical facilities have been introduced to benefit the jawans.

IGP Kashmir stressed upon the jawans and officers to fight against the social evils and drug menace for the betterment of the society and to maintain a good police public relation.
