Gun battle rages in budgam
Srinagar November 30: Gun fight started between militants and Goverment forces in Futlipora, Pakharpora area of central’s Kashmir’s Budgam district.
Acting on a specific information SOG Budgam and 10 Garhwal of army cordoned off Futlipora, Pakharpora area of Budgam district. As such the joint team of forces intensified searches towards suspected spot militants hiding in the area fired upon Goverment forces triggering an encounter.
As per sources 2 militants are believed to be trapped.Till this report was filed exchange of firing was going on. (GNS)
