Case Registered against rumour mongers Says Police

Ganderbal, Oct 11【KNZ】:Three guests who were presumed as braid chopper thrashed and beaten to pulp by the locals of Shallabug area in Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal District last night.

“Sources told guests were returning from tourist resort Gulmarg a group of mob at Shallabug area of Ganderbal after being suspected them as braid choppers stoped them and beat ruthlessly ”, a police officer said.

The mob consisted about large gathering of peoples and timely action of the police saved all of them and their vehicle was completely damaged by mob.

The victims have been identified as,Mohd Adnan khan From Gurgaon, Mohd Afroz Choudhry from Delhi and Mohd Asim choudhry from Gurgaon.

They were guest of Shah Aijaz resident of Duderhama Ganderbal,official added

Meanwhile, the officer said that the miscreants involved in the violence will be dealt as per law and the strict action will be taken against those breaking law in the name of so called braid chopping.

People are requested not to fall prey to rumors and its reiterated that strict action will be taken against attention seekers in the garb of braid chopping, he said.

Besides, rumor mongers and mischief mongers will also be brought to book who take advantage of the situation to disturb the peaceful atmosphere, the officer added.KNZ
