SRINAGAR, APRIL 20【KNZ】:Congress Leader Sahil Farooq Ahmad on Friday lashed on Govt. and Divisional Administration.

JKPCC Secretary express grief over the loss to the property and orchards in various parts of the valley especially in south kashmir.

Sahil Farooq said Govt . failed to help affected areas few inches of snow and rainfall buried entire administrative Departments stressed upon Divisional administration to take immediate steps for the necessary measures whatsoever required and make restoration of infrastructure like roads, power supply and other essential services in valley.

Sahil Farooq stressed to compensation in favour of affected families early emergency Departments like Irrigation and Flood Control Department, the Mechanical Engineering Department, UEED and Srinagar Municipal Corporation should press into services the requisite men and machinery to ensure speedy dewatering of water-logged areas so that there is no disruption of traffic and public movement.

Congress leader said Irrigation and Flood Control Department is in deep sleep as the embankments of rivers and streams are still in bad condition especially in the low-lying and vulnerable areas.

Government Should take preventive measures to ensure safety of life and property.Sahil farooq said

The Congress leader accused the government of not being able to deliver on the ground as the people in incessant rainy areas continue to suffer.KNZ
