Baramulla 02 July CNS:- in a Very Short Period of time Police Station Gulmarg has Busted A Blind Burglary Case while as Huge amount of Rupees Thirty Nine Lacs have been recovered from the accused Persons.
Accorrding to SSP Baramulla Abdul Qayoum On 24-06-2019, Sh. Suhail Bashir Manager GGP State Cable Car Corporation Limited informed Police Station Gulmarg that cash amounting to Rs. 51 Lacs has been stolen during the intervening night of 23/ 24-06-2019.
Upon this Police Station Gulmarg registered case FIR No 5/2019 u/s 457, 380 RPC and started investigation.After completing basis legal formalities Police inspected all available CCTV footage around Gulmarg bowl and noticed some suspicious movements around the place of occurrence and one of the suspects were identified as Bashir Ahmad Shah @ MLA S/O Ghulam Mohammad Shah R/O Gund Dalwach.
The suspect was apprehended, and upon his sustained questioning confesses to having committed the crime. He also named four more accomplices that were part of the burglary:1. Abdul Ahad Ganai S/O Ab Rehman Ganie R/O Hardichloo (employee of Cable Car Corporation) 2. Abdul Majeed Lone S/O Ghulam Ahmad Lone R/O Chanpora

  1. Imtiyaz Bhat S/O Ghulam Qadir R/O Hardichloo 4. Manzoor Ahmad Sheikh S/O Mohammad Abdullah R/O Chuntipathri.
    All the other suspects were arrested and on their disclosures/ identification cash amounting to 39 Lacs has been recovered so far.
    The investigation have revealed that Abdul Ahad Ganai as the mastermind of the burglary who hatched the whole plan. Besides provided vital information to the group how to execute the plan and the layout of the cashier room.
    Also, 2 of the suspects namely, Imtiyaz and Majeed lone have FIRs registered in their names for multiple burglaries in the area.(CNS)
