UDHAMPUR: A class 10th student was allegedly raped and made pregnant by a teacher in Ramnagar area of Udhampur district.
Acting on written complaint of the victim and her family members, Police has arrested the accused teachers, who was identified as Subash Singh, son of Munshi Ram of Kathil Ganju, posted in a Government Middle School.
A case FIR number 80/19, under Section 376 RPC has been registered in this connection for further investigation while the victim was sent to Sub-District Hospital Ramnagar for medical examination.
As per the complaint, lodged at the Ramnagar Police Station, the victim told her parents that she was pregnant for the last five to six months after being raped by the accused teacher, who was arrested after a series of raids.
