Ganderbal 12 Dec【KNZ】: Karate player of Ganderbal Shone in recently concluded State Karate championship and Won 17 medals.
It is for the first time Ganderbal players have topped the medal tally which talks about the talent Ganderbal players posses in Karata.
Ganderbal team was lead by Veteran coach Mujahid Yaqoob under the banner of Ganderbal Karata Association.Total of 34 players form GKA participated in the championship.
Most of players who won the podium position from Ganderbal in the championship were training in Dojo national academy founded by Mujahid Yaqoob.
Also many players from Ganderbal qualified for judge and referee courses and were felicitated by AKAJK.
Mujahid Yaqoob coach of Ganderbal Karate Association said “I am proud of the players.We will continue to produce players of this quality.These players are inspiration for all sports players across the state”.
