Pulwama 18 Nov:On Saturday, Pulwama Sangam road was blocked by angry protesters at Rakh litter after a local butcher was allegedly beaten to pulp by Government forces for selling meat.

Sources told that dozens of vehicles are stranded on the road. They added that people in large number have assembled there and are demanding justice.

The Butcher has been identified as subzar Ahmed Mir son of Gulam Mohammad Mir resident of Rakh litter Pulwama said that three army men barged into his shop and started beating without any provocation.
Later they left the shop and asked Subzar to stop selling meat of cows.

On contacting tehsildar litter Mr Muzamil ah, he said that i am on the way; “I will give u details after reaching the spot.”

On contacting duty officer lassipora Sarfaraz Ahmed, he said, “i will look into the matter and give u details after that.”
