The first braid chopping incident was reported from district Bandipora on Thursday.
Sources has learnt that a 5th standard student, identified as *Ifat Farooq D/O Farooq Ahmed Wani, was found unconscious in her house at Nathpora Ward 14 after she returned from school.*
The father of victim told that, “I found my daughter unconscious on veranda. After waking her, I found her braid chopped.”
The victim told that *two burqa clad women caught and sprinkled something on me that made me unconscious.*
She said, *“I was coming from school and some burqa clad persons caught hold of me and sprinkled something on me which made me unconscious.”*
Locals of the area told that on late Wednesday evening some non-local women were roaming in the village.
They said we had also informed the police about them.
