February 19-2019:-Mushtaq Ahmed Khan, a prominent Islamic preacher from South Kashmir’s Islamabad (anantnag) district has breathed his last on Tuesday afternoon.

A resident of Mattan in Islamabad (anantnag) district, he was suffering from illness from the past one and a half year.

The 70 year old cleric, was renowned for his sermons and had earned prominence in South Kashmir.

He was the South Kashmir president of Jammu Kashmir, Tableeg ul Islam, one of the first religious organizations in the valley.

A resident of Seer e Hamdan in Islamabad (anantnag), he breathed his last in Srinagar hospital around, 11 am today (Tuesday), a relative of Moulana Mushtaq told The Kashmiriyat
