EJAC Kashmir headed by Ajaz Khan with 100’s of aide’s  protests in press enclave Srinagar where protesters denounced the Myanmar government over the persecution and killings of Rohingyas. They protesters were march from press enclave to Lal Chowk & raised slogans muslim mamalik ik hojaav ik hojaav , stop genocide in myanmaar etc.

He appealed to the state employees to stand against this “barbarism” and wear black badges on arms and hoist black flags on all the government institutions and offices on September 8, as a mark of protest against this ethnic genocide.

“EJAC leadership shall submit a memorandum to the UNO office here in support and favour of Rohingiya Muslims of Myanmar on September 8,” a spokesman of EJAC, in a statement today, said.“People with human heart should condemn these inhuman acts wherein children, women, daughters, youngsters and even old aged people are not spared by the government sponsored brutality,” the spokesman quoted Qayoom Wani as having said while addressing a meeting of EJAC members and office-bearers here.Wani  appealed to all the countries and world community in general and Muslim countries in particular to take a strong note of this government sponsored brutality in Myanmar and open their borders to provide space and shelter to the refugees of Burma on humanitarian basis.

Wani condemned the “criminal” silence of world community especially UNO on this serious human issue.Meanwhile, Wani condemned the “harassment” of High Court Bar Association (HCBA) president Mian Abdul Qayoom by National Investigation Agency (NIA).“Mian Qayoom is a highly dignified personality and reputed lawyer, always fighting for justice to the common people and suppressed class. He has a good moral character and honest background,” Qayoom Wani, in a statement today, said.
