BUDGAM DEC 08【KNZ】:A mid chilling cold, devotees all over Jammu & Kashmir celebrated Eid-Milad-Un-Nabi (SAW) with religious fervor on Friday as thousands of devotees thronged revered at Makhamma village of central Kashmir Budgam. Thousands of peoples had reached the Makhama shrine to participate the jumma prayers and where after holy relic was displayed, the biggest congregation was wit most people were seen folding their hands while some had tears trickling down their faces as they prayed.

The shrine was pleasantly decorated the devotees got emotional and raised their hands for prayers reciting quranic verses and Duroods while having the glimpse of holy relic of prophet Muhmmad (SAW) after every congregational prayers. According to locals special arrangement were put in place by civil administration for necessary facilities

Various organizations had erected banners on roads and shops outside the shrine, Meanwhile special  congregational prayers were also organized at other revered shrines.

Various Milad processions were also taken out across the valley where speakers threw light on various masjids and shrines.A huge milad procession was taken out by Karwani-islami chief    Gh Rasool Hami at Makhama in which thousands of devotees participated, the processions starts from Makhama shrine and culminated in Magam area of central Kashmir Budgam.Devotees from far-flung areas of the area had arrived at Makhama  shrine in order to participate milad procession which was laid by moulana Gh Rasool Hami.
