Ganderbal 21 July【KNZ】:Continuing its efforts to strengthen the police public relations, a Police Community partnership Group (PCPG) meeting was organized at Gutlibagh Police post in Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal District

The meeting was chaired by Dysp Hqr Ganderbal Shri Aashiq Hussain and was attended by a huge gathering of people from different sections of the society like Masjid committee, Drivers Union and prominent members of civil society.

The participants highlighted various issues of day to day life and assured their cooperation and support in fighting the crimes.

Dysp Hqr Ganderbal, Shri Aashiq Hussain while speaking on the occasion explained the aims and objectives of the PCPG.

He highlighted the importance of the community members role in community policing and encouraged the youths to be members of PCPG. He spoke about various strategies adopted by Jammu and Kashmir police and are being implemented in near future to help the public especially youth.

Dysp Hqr while referring to the issues highlighted by the participants assured them that their grievance will be looked into on priority.

The participants lauded the efforts of Dysp Hqr Ganderbal to build a connect with the people and demanded that such interactions should continue in future.KNZ
