Kulgam 07 Oct (KNZ):Dog bite cases increasing in Kulgam District as in a single day 10 persons were injured. 1 died and 885 injured in 9 months this year.

Near about 10 people were injured during dog bite cases in district Kulgam yesterday one has been referd to Srinagar.

some children were injured during dog bite incidents at Banimulla,Tarigam,Matalhama and tekipora,four persons were injured in chadderban area of Kulgam.

All have been admitted in the district hospital for further treatment.

As earlier Alim Ahmad Bhat 07 year old boy resident of nanibug Kulgam died due to rabies .

People of Kulgam have appealed the district administration Kulgam for taking necessary arrangements to stop the menace of these animals for saving human beings.

Mean While Medical Suprident district hospital Kulgam told Kashmir News Zone-KNZ that last three months 160 cases of dog bite were reported in the district which is a matter of concern.

In this regard district development commissioner Kulgam Dr Shamim Ahmad wani chaired a high level meeting with officer,he said we will use all resources to stop these incidents.(KNZ)
