Ganderbal 05 Jan (KNZ):Deputy Chairman of Ganderbal Municipal Committee (GMC) on Saturday cleared roads leading to various vital places including hospital in the Ganderbal town.
“Deputy Chairman Mr Sajad Ahmad accompanied by other Senior Officers of GMC conducted a tour of Ganderbal town to review snow clearance.
“GMC has put its men and machinery in place to clear key roads in the town in the wake of snowfall and has cleared snow from important destinations and installations of hospitals, ration depots, banks, offices religious places and other important institutions. Several hoppers, loaders, and JCBs were pressed into service to ensure public faces no inconvenience,” it said.
Deputy Chairman Mr Sajad Ahmad while talking to Kashmir News Zone-KNZ he said GMC has established a Snow Control Room. “In case of any complaint regarding clearance of Snow, the following help- line can be contacted through GMC during office on +919596136111” it added.KNZ
