Anantnag: Protesters on Wednesday blocked Srinagar-Jammu highway near Vessu in Qazigund demanding adequate drinking water supply.

Local sources told KR that women of the area came out alongwith buckets are blocked the highway.

They were alleging that they face immense problems due to lack of drinking water.

“Though the concerned authorities are aware about our plight still no concrete step is being taken to solve our problem,” reports quoting one of the protesters said.
