Ganderbal, March 01, 2018:- District Administration Ganderbal has actively pressed its resources into service to shift Central University Kashmir campus from Srinagar to Ganderbal where construction work for the university buildings is in progress.
Accordingly, the District Development Commissioner (DDC), Ganderbal, Dr. Piyush Singla visited various sites to check the feasibility for the CUK campus. The DDC, who was accompanied by a team of concerned officers visited DIET Building Nuner, PHC Building Lari-Preng, and Dak Bunglow Fathepora besides some other private buildings to identify the feasible accommodation for establishment of university campus in the district.
On the occasion the DDC said that the CUK is a mega/versatile institute which can give boost to the district on educational and economic fronts. He said District Administration will provide all the support to the university Administration for its proper establishment in the District.
