Kulgam February 24【KNZ】:
District Development Commissioner Kulgam, Mr Talat Parvaiz today inaugurates coaching cum felicitations Centre for Civil aspirants of the district here today.

The programme was organised by District Administration in collaboration with Police department Kulgam.He was accompanied by SSP Kulgam Shri Dhar Patil, ADC Mr Parvaiz Raina, Principal GDC Kulgam and some subject experts from Pune.

Speaking on the occasion, DDC said that the initiative was taken up in order to give exposure to the candidates for taking up civil services exams.

He further said that need of the hour is to provide a platform to the candidates who have burning desires to prove their mettle but lack the basic facilities.While lauding the team of officers who are the part of the initiative, DDC appreciated the team for their dedication and delivering the required services.

Briefing the DDC the SSP Kulgam highlighted the aims and objectives of the programme and the need of the hour to organise such fecilitations centres for the aspiring youth.

He interacted with the participant aspirants and impressed upon the aspirants of Civil Services to avail the benefits of experts, faculty members and available sources within the complex (Training Centre). He said all the support be it faculty, guidance and exposure trip if needed would be provided by the Jk Police Kulgam to the aspirants of Civil Services.

The three experts from Pune including Minal Ramekar who spoke on
orientation lecture exam pattern and syallubs, Pranil Gilda Indian Polity and Constitution and Indian Economy by Pranav Manghat in the programme.

Earlier the Principal GDC Kulgam Prof Bashir Ahmad Rather gave a welcome addresses & through light upon the scope and avenues of Civil Services in Kashmir.
It is pertinent to mention that in the three months crash course almost 100 students have been registered for free coaching for civil service in District Employeement and Counselling Centre so for.
