Kupwara, Crime Branch Kashmir (CB) Saturday arrested a man who was portraying as the Personal Secretary in J&K Bank from Lastiyal-Kalaroose in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
Crime Branch Kashmir in its statement said that an accused involved in several cases since 2015 was on run after complaints were received for inducing people to pay money to give them jobs on false basis.

Several complaints were received against, one individual identified as Abdul Majid Mir, son of Abdul Rahim Mir, resident of Lastiyal Kalarose, from different people especially unemployed youth.

Furthermore, the statement reads that over the years, many attempts were made to trace the accused but he was evading the arrest.

“Notices were also published in local dailies (Newspapers) last year, asking for his whereabouts but there was no trace,” statement reads, adding that this afternoon, the accused was apprehended.

The cases already registered against the accused under FIR numbers, 50/2018, 17/2015, 32/2015 in P/S CBK, reads the statement.
