Ganderbal 01 Feb (KNZ):Government forces on Friday cordoned off Shahpora Giraj of Ganderbal district conducted door to door search operation.
As per police official sources, following the tip off about the movement of militants, the areas were put under cordon by joint forces. The contingents of Jammu & Kashmir police,SOG and Army conducted door-to-door searches in Shahpora Giraj
Large numbers of government forces were involved in the search operations.
However, no contact was established with the militants during searches.
As per police officials, the operation ended without any causality from either side.KNZ
