Ganderbal 12 Feb (KNZ):Government forces on Wednesday cordoned off Chan Mohalla and Besreh Mohalla area of Safapora in Ganderbal district conducted door to door search operation.
As per official sources,following the tip off about the movement of militants, the areas were put under cordon by joint forces. The contingents of Jammu & Kashmir police,SOG,13RR and 5RR conducted door-to-door searches in two villages of Safapora
Large numbers of government forces were involved in the search operations.
However, no contact was established with the militants during searches.
However sources said, the operation ended without any causality from either side.KNZ
