Labourers hail Media fraternity of Ganderbal for raising their voice.

Ganderbal Nov 16【KNZ】:Thousands of Labourers in Ganderbal were in jubilation today when district administration deferred auction of much controversial minor mining lease.

The Labourers ,tipper owners and other people associated with quarrying in Ganderbal were peacefully Protesting from last one weak against the lease policy of government in the district.

Today was open auction of the mining rights on lease.Before the auction thousands of Protesters assembled in premises of Mini secretariat Ganderbal and raised slogans against the Lease policy of government under SRO 105.

Firdous Baba ,a representative of the Protesters Said “There is a relief now, when we learnt auction has been deferred ,we will continue to protest against the lease policy.we are thankful to MLA Kangan Mia Altaf for standing with us.”

“We are also very thankful to Ganderbal journalists Association , Press Club Ganderbal and other media professionals in Ganderbal for raising our voice continuously.”He added.【KNZ】
