GANDERBAL 03 May【KNZ】:Chair,s of the ZEO,s in most of the Educational Zones of Ganderbal Tullamulla,Kangan and Hariganwan etc. are vacant since the transfer and postings of ZEO,s made by the government.
JKPCC Secretary Sahil Farooq Ahmad said that almost ZEO,s were transferred and posted at different zones of Kashmir valley, but since then the post,s of ZEO,s was not filled which are still lying vacant and with the result the office related work remains pending.
While as DDO powers were given to Principals which effects academic session due to which the Students, teaching and non teaching staff is suffering at large.
Sahil Farooq said Govt. Should look into it because majority of the staff including teaching and non teaching are facing problems in absence of ZEO,s.
Congress Secretary Stressed that the DDO powers (Drawing and Disbursing Officers Powers) should be given to ZPO,s (Zonal planning Officers ) in their respective zone,s.
He said that bills and other office related work are pending due to absence of the ZEO,s and Govt.should take immediate measures to redress the issues of teachers.
Congress Leader said that entire work in government offices particularly related to education department has shut down due to strike by clerks and the government needs to resolve the issue on emergency basis.
Congress Secretary added that the government to talk to the clericial cadre and resolve their issues at the earliest.
Sahil Farooq Impressed upon clerical staff to register their protests in such a way that no inconvenience is caused to the general public. 【KNZ】
