Ganderbal:Scores of casual labours of Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal District on Tuesday staged protest outside mini-secretariate   demanding regularization of their service which they were promised years ago.
Protestors assembled under the banner of J&K coordination committee of trade union (JKCCTU), holding placards from beehama chowk to Mini-secretariate Ganderbal
While taking to media persons, protesters said that the authorities should regularize the services of casual labours without further delay.
They said that Government has failed to address the issues of thousands of casual labours of Sonamarg development authority, fisheries casual labours, PHE, PDD, and other need base workers including Anganwari workers and helpers are suffering due to the delay caused by authorities.
Mohammad Maqbool JKCCTU president said that the workers of different departments has been struggling for a long time to seek justice but the workers has always be fooled and inspire of so many assurance practically nothing is being done by the state Govt. with the result the workers of different departments has been facing acute problems.
Later the protest rally disperse peacefully after registered their demands at DC Office Ganderbal.
