Ganderbal 19 Jun【KNZ】:Casual Labourers of Forest department Ganderbal ( Forest division sind) on Tuesday protested agianst unequal wages in front of District forest office here.
The casual labourers raised slogans against the department.They alleged that blue-eyed casual labourers are paid full wages and rest are not paid full wages.They demanded equal wages for every casual labourer.
A protesters said, “Majority of Casual labourers are only paid Rupees 900 and others are paid rupees 6750.Why this discrimination? Most of us are serving in forest department for more then one decade .We have not been paid full wages from many months.”
When this reporter visited District forest office divsion sind he found the office was locked and all employees were absent.KNZ
