Srinagar, July 23 : G R Beigh Memorial Trust on Monday called an emergency meeting which was presided over by its chief patron Fatima Rasool Beigh.

An official statement issued to GNS said during the meeting, some “grave issues” related to recent list of Sher-e-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS) faculty was discussed.

A serious note was taken of the alleged bungling in the list by the previous government.

The Trust has sought the intervention of Governor N N Vohra into the matter and demanded a judicial probe into it so that justice is imparted to the deserving candidates.

During the meeting, the resignation of Dr M S Khuroo, a doctor of international repute from SKIMS governing body membership was considered as a loss to the organizational benefits. (GNS)
