Srinagar, 20 Feb 2016: Sniping Incident in Karnah Sector (Tangdhar). Today at about 04:50 PM, Pak regulars violating cease fire, targeted Constable S K Murmu of BSF deployed in FDL on LoC in Karnah Sector (Tangdhar) by sniping.
Individual sustained critical bullet injury in stomach.
Injured Constable was evacuated to Army 92 Base Hospital, Srinagar through Army helicopter, where at 08:30 PM he succumbed. The slain Constable belonged to Vill Langritar, PS/PO Khaira, Distt Jamui, Bihar.
