86300 students have appeared in exams

Srinagar, Nov 20: The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education will declare the results of 8th standard exams of Kashmir valley tomorrow.

A BOSE official said that a total of 86300 students appeared in the exams held in last month which included 42743 boys and 43648 girls.

Confirming to KNS, Director School Education, Kashmir, Dr G N Itoo said the results of Class 8 students will be declared on Tuesday (tomorrow).

Meanwhile, Secretary Education, Farooq A Shah told KNS that the efforts of the education department are to get the top position in the country in education excellence.

Shah said this after the education sector in the state was ranked second after Himachal Pradesh in the country-wide survey done by India Today.
