Ganderbal 08 Nov (KNZ):The residents alleged that the army entered into the village around 03:00 AM and ransacked the property without any provocation at Warpoh Alesteng village of Nagbal in Ganderbal district

Aabida said that army on Sunday afternoon started cordon and launched search operation around Warpoh and adjoining Bakoora village following inputs about presence of militants in the area.

She said that there were no protests or clashes during the day in the village and that the army action was unprovoked.

“She also told Kashmir News Zone-KNZ that government forces damaged windowpanes, Inverter, kitchenware and other property of his house during night hours and also arrest 04 members of the house during night and later released in critical condition at Tengpora bypass and they referred to the SKIMS for treatment,she said

“The army soldiers were hitting everything that came their way,she added

People in the morning assembled in the village and staged protests against the excesses in the area

At least 11 youths were arrested last 3 days without any reason ,Haseena said

Demanding stern action against the soldiers involved in vandalizing the civilian property and arrested the youths, the residents said the police must register FIR against the army

Senior Superintendent of Police Ganderbal Mr Khalil Poswal told Kashmir News Zone-KNZ that the locals have registered a complaint against army ,due process of law would follow .(KNZ)
