Kupwara, July 20, 2019: Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Kupwara, Mohd Ashraf Bhat, who is also the chairman of District Skill Development Committee (DSDC) convened a meeting here today to finalize the modalities/establishment of various skill development activities under BADP at identified locations/blocks.

It was informed in the meeting that Rs.50 lakhs have been earmarked under Border Area Development Programme (BADP) for the year 2019-20 to impart training among 505 youths in different villages of the district under various sectors.

On the occasion ADDC directed the concerned authorities to thrust upon job oriented courses which are approved under national skill development scheme, so that the trainees can get benefited.

        The meeting was attended by Principal Polytechnic College Kupwara, Assistant Director Handloom, Principal ITI Handwara/Kupwara, Representative of social Welfare department and other concerned.
