Ganderbal, Aug 11, 2017:- To spread the message of maintaining cleanliness and sanitation under Swachh Bharat Mission (SBM) Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Ganderbal Mr. Nazir Ahmad Baba flagged off a “walkathon” (Students rally) from District Office Complex Ganderbal which culminated at Town Hall Ganderbal today.
Students of various Government and private schools carried placards exhibiting the importance of maintaining cleanliness under Swachh Bharat Mission passed through bazaar and streets of the town.
Walkathon rally was organized by JK Developmental Action Group (JK¬-DAG) in collaboration with Directorate of Urban Local Bodies Kashmir.
ADDC on this occasion highlighted the importance of Swachh Bharat Mission campaign. District Officers, Executive Officer Municipal Corporation Ganderbal, NGO President Mr. SM Hussain and other prominent citizen participated.
