Ganderbal, April 18, 2018:- To finalize the arrangements put in place for the smooth conduct of forthcoming Services Selection Board (SSB) examinations scheduled from April 29th in the District, Additional Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal Mr. Syed Shahnawaz Bukhari chaired a meeting here on today.

The meeting was attended by Assistant Commissioner Revenue, SDM Kangan, Tehsildars, Deputy Chief Education officer, exam observers, district heads of different departments and educational institutions where the examination centres have been fixed.
During the meeting threadbare discussion was held regarding the posting of staff, examination observers, seating and accommodation arrangements and other necessary facilities.
The ADC stressed on ensuring the free and fair conduct of written exams of various posts including Naib Tehsildar starting from April 29th. He directed all the school/centre heads to ensure conducive environment for the candidates with proper seating arrangements and other facilities. A total of 3160 candidates are appearing for different posts in about 8 centres across the district.
ADC gave necessary directions to the concerned officers for ensuring security and other related arrangements well in time for smooth conduct of the examination. The concerned officers were instructed to ensure that students enter the examination centers at least one hour before the start of exams and no one enters the examination halls with mobile phones or other electronic gadgets.
The ADC emphasized upon the concerned to ensure smooth conduct of examinations besides directing the officers to deploy sufficient staff at the centres and for the transportation of examination material.
He warned of stringent action against invigilators found indulging in unfair means including immediate suspension of a government employee and de-recognition of private school for any misconduct.
