KUPWARA, SEPT 26【KNZ】: Minister for Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, Abdul Haq Khan on Tuesday laid the foundation stone of 34 kms, 33Kv line at Khumriyal for remote villages of Machil.

Speaking on the occasion the RDD Minister said that present government is committed to streamline all sectors of development so that people would be able to get the benefits of these schemes.

He said that the Machil area is being connected with the electricity in near future so that people of the far flung area of the Machil will avail the benefits.

He said that the DDUVY is being implemented in far flung areas of Machil, Karen  Karnah Areas seven villages of 12 are been covered under the Yojana by Government of India in collaboration with PDD.

The DDC Kupwara who was present on the occasion briefed the minister regarding the power scenario in the district.

It was give out that Rs 2. 74 crore  are being spent on the construction of 34km ,33kv line from Khumriyal to Machil by PDD  Under implementation of DDUVY.

Public deputations and other dignitaries met Minister on the occasion and apprised him about the problems and demands confronted to them were assured for early redressal of these problems by issuing directions by the Minister RDD.KNZ
