Srinagar 09 Feb (KNZ): The LLB students of 2015 batch in Kashmir University on Saturday, have expressed resentment over delay in their last semester result by the university authorities.

The aggrieved students have said that, they are facing immense hardships as they are “not able to appear in competitive exams or to get admission for further studies, due to the delay in the result”

They further said that, their batch was enrolled in July 2015 for three years LLB programme, and were scheduled to complete their degrees in the year 2018, as per the university rules but “even in 2019, result of last semester is yet to be declared”

According to them, “law department has already declared their result unofficially and have sent that to controller of examinations for official announcement, but nothing has been done so far”

“We are facing a lot of problems due to delay in our result. our batch started three years LLB programme in July 2015 and we were supposed to complete the degree in July 2018, the last semester (6th) exams were held in september 2018 and the unofficial result was declared by law department in Ist week of January 2018,” Zahid Wani, a student said, adding that “official result is to be declared by the examination wing of Kashmir University, which is the matter if grave concern”

A delegation of students have said that, their back to requests to concerned authorities related to the declaration of said result “have turned into deaf ears”

“We many times requested concerned authorities to declare our result, but our pleas have turned into deaf ears,” they said.

The students have requested Honourable Governor of the state and Vice Chancellor Kashmir university to intervene in the issue and “declare result as soon as possible”KNZ
