Handwara 09 Jan : Massive fire created havoc at Prem Gali handwara when flames caught shops and devastated ten shops during intervening night of Tuesday and Wednesday.
Panic gripped the entire area overnight after nocturnal fire erupted and engulfed at least ten shops at Prem Gali, Handwara area of North Kashmir.
At least ten shops were caught in a massive fire before fire tenders rushed to the spot and doused the flames.
Locals said that fire created havoc after shops were engulfed and fire ablaze engulfed structures fast as all the furniture inside the shops was gutted down.
“The incident took place during the intervening night at around 12.20 am when flames were seen from outside and everyone rushed towards the spot,” locals said.
