Ganderbal 24 Mar (KNZ): Military Garrison, Ganderbal as part of its efforts to provide opportunity to the students of the valley to visit premier educational and cultural institutions of the country, had flagged off an Educational and Motivational tour to Jammu, Delhi and Jaipur for 20 School Students of District Ganderbal under the aegis of 3 Sect RR on 13 Mar 2019. The tour was conducted over a period of 12 days wef 13 Mar 2019 to 24 Mar 2019.Culminating with the Flagging-in ceremony organised at Ganderbal Garrison today.

During the tour, the students got a unique opportunity to visit various places of cultural and historical importance like Hari Niwas Palace, Bagh-e Bahu, Balidan Stambh, India Gate, Qutub Minar, Rashtrapati Bhavan, Amer Fort, Jal Mahal , City Palace and Hawa Mahal

The Students were also exposed to some of the leading educational institutions of the Country like National Science Centre, IIT, Delhi, Nehru Planetarium and MNIT, Jaipur. Apart from these institutions, the students also visited DLF Mall, VasantZoo

The tour provided the students with exposure and insight to the vast opportunities that exist for a bright future and would go a long way in moulding their minds towards importance of peace, harmony and development.

The students were in jubilant mood on reaching back home and were eager to share their cherished experiences with their parents who were present on the occasion.The parents expressed their gratitude to the Army for providing their wards with a once in a lifetime opportunity to widen their horizons.KNZ
