In a statement to media Saif ud din Soz said “I welcome the decision of senior IAS officer Shah Faesal to resign from the IAS.

Soz also welcome his intention to join public life. The reason he has given for his resignation seems to be correct and palatable as it is based on solid facts.

My assessment is that he will prove an asset to whatever party he joins.

I think the recent years of governance in India have been an era of hopelessness as the system had experienced an atmosphere of ‘Extreme Intolerance’, among other drawbacks.

I have always considered that Politics is the most effective instrument of service to the people. And, then, if the motive is to serve the people, it becomes an enjoyable situation for the actors who take politics that way.

Sometimes, I feel dismayed to see the levels of corruption in the society and I wish and pray for a discernible change in the system.

At this moment, I also wish and pray that the Party Shah Faesal joins, decides to use his (Shah Faesal’s) talent in J&K State, where he can make the necessary contribution expected of him.

Let us hope for the best”, said the Soz.
