January 31: Militants hurled a grenade on security forces at Sherbagh Chowk in Anantnag district.
Militants today hurled a grenade on security forces at Sherbagh Chowk in Anantnag district which resulted in injuries to five civilians including 3 women, and two CRPF jawans.
The injured who have been identified as Rehana Begum, Sobiya Jan, Naza Begum, all three residents of Anchidora, Irfan Dar resident of Lal Chowk Anantnag, Mohd Hussain resident of Sofipora and two CRPF jawans have been shifted to the hospital for the treatment of their injuries.
Police has registered a case in this regard and officers continue to work to establish the full circumstances of the incident.
